The production which recently opened at the National Opera in Warsaw, directed by Wojciech Faruga, takes the story to the United States in the 'Seventies, using an approach that leans towards musical rather than classic opera. Aleksandra Orłowska, who sings Fiordiligi (who at one point locks herself and her convictions in a glass case with a stuffed croc), Hubert Zapiór who sings Guglielmo, flaunting a bare chest at her and not only, and Yaroslav Shemet, who conducts the embroglio are talking to Elżbieta Krajewska.
