Meanwhile, the minimum hourly rate will go up to PLN 19.70 (EUR 4.30, USD 4.90) effective January 1, Deputy Family and Social Policy Minister Stanisław Szwed noted on Friday.
The country’s minimum monthly wage rose to PLN 2,800 at the start of this year, from PLN 2,600 in 2020.
Meanwhile, the minimum hourly rate in Poland is currently set at PLN 18.30, up from PLN 17 a year earlier.
The average gross Polish monthly wage in November was PLN 6,022.49, the state-run Central Statistical Office (GUS) reported this month.
