According to the report, Nawrocki’s travels as the head of the Museum of World War II included destinations such as Hawaii, Japan, China, Australia, and New Zealand.
After becoming vice president and later president of the Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) in 2021, he continued long-distance trips to countries like Zimbabwe, Mexico, and Argentina, as well as an extensive tour of the United States.

Gazeta Wyborcza estimates that Nawrocki spent nearly 800,000 PLN (approx. 191,000 EUR or 195,000 USD) on foreign trips - 463,000 PLN (approx. 111,000 EUR or 115,000 USD) during his tenure at the WWII Museum and over 326,000 PLN (approx. 78,000 EUR or 81,000 USD) as head of the IPN.
In 2018, he visited Moscow, Helsinki, Riga, and several U.S. cities. The following year, he traveled to Essen, Brussels, Chișinău, and Bucharest.
One of his most expensive trips took place in 2020, when he spent 121,000 PLN (approx. 29,000 EUR or 30,000 USD) on a visit to Australia and New Zealand, where he toured museums and met with Polish diaspora communities.
During a 12-day trip to China and Japan, Nawrocki reportedly visited museums dedicated to World War II, Gazeta Wyborcza adds.
