This marks the highest number of candidates ever to submit signatures in a Polish presidential race, state news agency PAP reported.
However, six of the hopefuls still need to be have their signatures verified by the electoral authority before they can be officially registered as candidates.
Among the last to meet the April 4 deadline were businessman Paweł Tanajno and journalist Krzysztof Stanowski, both of whom handed in their signatures on Friday.

The PKW has so far confirmed 11 candidates, listed alphabetically:
- Artur Bartoszewicz (independent),
- Magdalena Biejat (backed by the Left),
- Grzegorz Braun (an independent MEP expelled from Confederation),
- Szymon Hołownia (Polska 2050),
- Marek Jakubiak (Federation for the Republic),
- Sławomir Mentzen (Confederation),
- Karol Nawrocki (backed by PiS),
- Joanna Senyszyn (independent, left-wing politician),
- Rafał Trzaskowski (Civic Coalition),
- Marek Woch (Non-Party Local Government Movement),
- Adrian Zandberg (left-wing Razem).

Still pending clearance are contenders including Maciej Maciak and former government minister Dawid Jackiewicz.
Poland's presidential election is set to take place on May 18, with a potential second round scheduled for June 1 if no candidate secures more than 50 percent of the vote.
