F-22 fighter jets from the USA have reached the Polish airforce base in Łask, as part of the NATO Air Shielding mission - a mission to provide a "shield" for NATO countries from the Baltic to the Black Sea.

The Polish defence minister, Mariusz Błaszczyk, commented that the 6 fighter jets that have reached Poland are among the most advanced in the world:
