Adam Niedzielski, the minister for health, has confirmed the implementation of a fourth COVID-19 vaccination dose, following the recommendations of the European Medicines Agency (EMA).
The recommendations include the authorisation for using new vaccination variants adapted to the newer Omicron viruses.
Niedzielski also said, however, that he did not perceive the need to interfere with schools with offline classes this autumn. He said that the peak of the current wave has passed, "without the majority of the population even noticing."
