Duda's talks with Sandu focused on regional security and Russia's nearly year-old invasion of Ukraine, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
During the meeting, Duda reaffirmed Poland's support for ex-Soviet Moldova in its efforts to join the European and trans-Atlantic community, officials said.
Sandu tweeted that she "had a very good meeting" with Duda "to discuss pressing security challenges and Moldova's EU accession."
She said "Poland is a key partner in our pursuit of a democratic, prosperous future for Moldova."
She added she was "grateful for Poland's unwavering support in advancing our shared goals."
On Tuesday, Sandu met with US President Joe Biden, who is visiting Warsaw, the IAR news agency reported.
According to a statement by the White House, Biden "reaffirmed strong US support for Moldova’s sovereignty and territorial integrity" and "highlighted ongoing US assistance to help Moldova strengthen its political and economic resilience, including its democratic reform agenda and energy security, and to address the effects of Russia’s war against Ukraine."
In a major speech in the Polish capital on Tuesday, Biden praised "the resolve of the people of Moldova to live in freedom," saying their resolve "gained them independence and put them on the path to EU membership."
Addressing Sandu, Biden said he was proud to stand with her and "the freedom-loving people of Moldova."
Wednesday is day 364 of Russia’s war on Ukraine.
