During an interview with state broadcaster TVP Info on Monday, Mularczyk was questioned about Poland's intentions to produce a report similar to one released last year that documented the wartime damage inflicted on Poland by Germany.
“The Institute of War Losses is working on such a report,” Mularczyk said.
“It must be as solidly documented as the report on Poland's losses suffered as a result of the German attack, so that no one can undermine it,” he added.
Currently on a visit to Germany, Mularczyk is scheduled to engage in talks with German parliamentarians focusing on Warsaw's push for reparations from Berlin.
On Sunday, the chairman of Russia’s State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin said that Poland must face consequences for what he described as a betrayal of the historical memory of the Soviet Union's liberation of the country from Nazi Germany, according to media reports.
Volodin also said that the Kremlin should demand reparations exceeding USD 750 billion from Poland as compensation for Soviet investments made in the country after World War II, as well as relinquish territories acquired after the war, news agencies reported.
