NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte will co-host a working dinner for NATO heads of state and government in The Hague on Tuesday, according to an announcement by NATO.

Expected guests include the presidents of Poland, Lithuania and Romania and the prime ministers of Albania, Belgium and Norway.

The dinner will be part of preparations for NATO's Vilnius summit on July 11-12, according to officials.

The discussions will focus on "Russia’s war against Ukraine and other security issues," NATO said.

According to the Polish president's foreign policy adviser, Marcin Przydacz, meeting participants will discuss their "expectations ahead of the NATO summit, but also the security situation, including the situation on the front in Ukraine, and the latest developments in Russia as well as Belarus."

Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, launching the largest military campaign in Europe since World War II.

Tuesday is day 489 of Russia’s war on Ukraine.
