Rau will travel to the German capital to take part in an EU foreign ministers’ conference entitled “A larger, stronger Union – making the European Union fit for enlargement and future members fit for accession,” the Polish foreign ministry said.
It added in a statement that Rau "will be attending a meeting within the framework of the working group 'EU 30+ as a global player' and a discussion as part of the conference’s public segment."
The main topic of the Berlin conference will be "preparing the EU to welcome future members," the Polish foreign ministry said in an X post.
