Since February last year when Russia invaded its neighbour, some 16.8 million people have crossed into Poland from Ukraine.
Meanwhile, over 15 million people have left Poland for Ukraine since the start of the Russian invasion, including over 23,600 on Friday.
It is estimated that Poland is currently home to around one million Ukrainians after many who had fled Russia's invasion moved on to other countries or decided to return to Ukraine.
Saturday is day 619 of Russia’s war on Ukraine.
