President Andrzej Duda and Prime Minister Donald Tusk held discussions on Saturday afternoon, the presidential office said.
The two talked about this week's EU summit in Brussels, national security issues and regional cooperation, Polish state news agency PAP reported.
Duda and Tusk also discussed their upcoming visits to Estonia.
The prime minister is due to meet with Baltic counterparts in Tallinn on Sunday, according to officials.
The president and prime minister held talks to "agree on Poland's position on crucial issues," the presidential office said.
On Thursday EU leaders, including Poland's Tusk, agreed to open accession talks with Ukraine.
On Friday, the EU's executive Commission said it would release a EUR 5 billion advance payment from the recovery funds earmarked for Poland.
The funds, EUR 59.8 billion in grants and loans, have been withheld due to a dispute between Warsaw and Brussels over the rule of law, including judicial independence, under Poland's previous conservative government, the PAP news agency reported.
