Deputy Defence Minister Paweł Zalewski has told public broadcaster Polish Radio that the current defence strategy was planned before Russia’s full-scale aggression in Ukraine and is largely outdated.

Zalewski also said that the strategic document should be ready as soon as possible, with the main objectives expected to be set out "in a few weeks.”

Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, launching the largest military campaign in Europe since World War II.
