Speaking on Tuesday at a Council of Ministers meeting, Tusk highlighted the essential role of security personnel in safeguarding the nation, particularly at critical infrastructure sites and factories.

"Today you are also, as it were, on the front lines of protecting the homeland and our internal security," Tusk declared, addressing thousands of security workers. He emphasized the ongoing need for vigilance, urging all service personnel, especially those in critical roles, to prepare for intensified activity that could threaten Poland's safety.

This warning follows recent high-profile incidents, including fires at a market hall in Warsaw and at landfills, which the government has been investigating for potential links to foreign sabotage.

However, Tusk stated that "there is no reason to believe that the fires are the result of external forces."

But he stressed that these events do not lessen the risk of future sabotage and diversion, pointing out that Poland and its allies have successfully thwarted several such attempts in recent months.
