Held in Switzerland, the First Global Peace Summit saw leaders from over 90 countries and international organizations gather to discuss peace and security.

"I thank Polish President Andrzej Duda and the entire Polish delegation for participating in the historic First Global Peace Summit," Zvarych wrote on the X social media platform.

"Poland has reaffirmed its leadership and responsible attitude in defense of international law and territorial integrity within internationally recognized borders," he added.

Zvarych said that achieving a just peace in Ukraine and defeating the "colonial policies of the Russian aggressor" are also in Poland's national interest, as part of efforts to ensure peace and prosperity for future generations.

"Stronger together!" he wrote.

The peace summit in Buergenstock, Switzerland, organized by Switzerland and Ukraine, concluded on Sunday with significant success, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

European leaders in attendance included British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Olaf Scholz.

The United States was represented by Vice President Kamala Harris.
