Political opinions on the ninth year of Andrzej Duda's presidency

Over the past year, a change in parliamentary power in Poland has led to criticism of Andrzej Duda's presidency by members of the new majority.

Patryk Jaskulski from the Civic Coalition (KO) argued that Duda played a role in undermining the justice system, leaving a legacy of contributing to the dismantling of the rule of law in Poland.

Senior Marshal Marek Sawicki from the centrist PSL criticized President Andrzej Duda for politicizing the office, accusing him of being heavily involved in supporting a particular political faction.

On the other hand, conservative PiS MP Robert Telus praised Duda's presidency, highlighting his commitment to Polish affairs and noting that even when he disagreed with his party, it was clear that his focus was on Poland's interests.

Witold Tumanowicz from the far-right Confederation criticized Duda for signing laws that were detrimental to Poles during PiS's rule, such as the "Polish Deal." However, Tumanowicz commended Duda's recent actions, particularly his efforts to ensure that laws are passed in compliance with the constitution, sending them to the Constitutional Tribunal when necessary.

As Duda enters his final year in office, the constitution bars him from pursuing a third term.
