Spotlight on Agnieszka Holland at Polish Film Festival in Seoul

The Polish Film Festival in Seoul, starting on September 25th, will feature a retrospective of acclaimed director Agnieszka Holland, along with films by contemporary Polish female directors and discussions on women's narratives in cinema.

This marks the sixth edition of this notable event. Taking place at the Cinematheque Seul Art Cinema, the festival is organized in collaboration with the Polish Embassy in Seoul, as announced by the Adam Mickiewicz Institute.

In addition to her work, films by contemporary Polish female directors such as Jagoda Szelc, Małgorzata Szumowska, Anna Kazejak, Agnieszka Smoczyńska, and Anna Zamecka will also be featured.

The festival will include not just film screenings but also discussions with special guests who will explore women's narratives in cinema.

Attendees are also invited to watch a Polish interview with one of the showcased directors, Anna Kazejak.
