A variety of items donated by showbiz celebrities, artists and sports stars were auctioned on air and online as part of the annual Polish Radio 1 fundraiser, which is now in its 23rd year.
High-profile personalities, including soccer player Robert Lewandowski and tennis star Iga Świątek, contributed to this year’s Choinki Jedynki campaign by offering rare and unique items to benefit those in need

On December 29, a concert featuring singer-songwriter Dorota Miśkiewicz will wrap up the fundraising effort.
Funds raised through the Choinki Jedynki drive will go toward a charitable foundation run by well-known actress Anna Dymna and called Mimo Wszystko (In Spite of Everything).
Part of the money will be allocated to help people with disabilities affected by floods in the country's south, executives said.
The fundraiser included an auction of artworks created by children about Christmas.
