As of early Sunday, 32,000 households were without electricity, primarily in the northern Pomorskie and Zachodniopomorskie provinces.
Emergency crews were working to restore power, according to Piotr Błaszczyk of the Government Security Center.
In one incident in Łobez, northwestern Poland, a warehouse collapsed under the weight of accumulated snow, as confirmed by local fire brigade spokesperson Captain Grzegorz Paluch.
Firefighters have responded to 980 weather-related incidents nationwide since Thursday, with the majority in Pomorskie (550) and Zachodniopomorskie (330), including broken branches, fallen trees and downed power lines.
Snow is expected to continue, especially in eastern, southern and central Poland, with the heaviest snowfall forecast for mountainous regions.
In the southern Tatra Mountains, a level-two avalanche warning is in effect until 8 p.m. local time.
The Tatra National Park has warned tourists about dangerous conditions at higher elevations, including deep snowdrifts and snow cornices, exacerbated by strong winds.
Despite the challenging conditions, the General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways reports that all national roads remain passable, thanks to the deployment of over 2,300 snowplows and maintenance vehicles overnight.
