The report, titled Salaries and Trends in Enterprises, found that job postings for logistics positions increased significantly, surpassing demand in most other sectors of the economy.
The number of job advertisements in the second and third quarters of 2024 was comparable to the record-breaking first quarter of 2022, highlighting sustained growth in the sector.
Experts predict that the demand will remain strong, particularly for specialists rather than entry-level workers.
Growing emphasis on data analysis
The report also noted a shift in job structures, with a growing emphasis on data analysis, planning, and process optimization rather than purely operational roles.
Companies are investing in streamlining logistics to shorten and secure supply chains, reduce costs and meet environmental regulations.
"The rapid growth in the logistics sector is driven by the increasing complexity of global supply chains and the need for optimization," said Natalia Nijak from Grafton Recruitment.
She added: "Companies are facing challenges such as rising transportation costs, market unpredictability and stricter environmental standards. In response, they are investing in modern technologies to improve operational efficiency and developing employees' skills in data analysis and process management."
Regional differences
The report also analyzed salary trends, showing regional differences.
In Warsaw, logistics managers earn between PLN 14,000 and PLN 24,000 gross per month, while in the southwestern city of Wrocław and the Gdańsk-Sopot-Gdynia Tricity area in the north, the upper salary limit is slightly lower at PLN 22,000.
Logistics directors command the highest salaries in Warsaw, earning between PLN 16,000 and 27,000 per month, compared to a maximum of PLN 26,000 in Wrocław.
Specialists in logistics earn between 8,000 and 9,500 PLN in the capital, while in cities such as Poznań and Łódź, salaries range from PLN 6,500 to PLN 10,000.
Salaries for warehouse workers remain stable across most regions, averaging between PLN 5,000 and PLN 7,000 PLN.
Salary growth highest for customs agents, warehouse managers
In 2024, salaries in the logistics sector showed varied growth. The highest increases were recorded for customs agents and warehouse management specialists, both seeing a rise of 10.7 percent.
Dispatchers' salaries increased by 7 percent, while logistics specialists saw a 7.8 percent rise. Salaries for logistics managers grew by 5.7 percent, and supply chain analysts saw a 4.5-percent increase.
The smallest changes were observed for international freight forwarders (1.9 percent) and logistics directors (1.5 percent).
"The differences in salary growth reflect the increasing demand for skills related to efficient supply chain and warehouse operations management," said Ewa Michalska of Grafton Recruitment.
"Pay increases for key positions confirm their strategic importance in optimizing company processes," she added.
The Grafton Recruitment report is based on an analysis of nearly 500,000 job postings, along with data from one of Poland’s largest job advertisement platforms, covering the period from 2019 to 2024.
