Pollster IBRiS said trust in Trzaskowski, a liberal-centrist figure, rose to 43.5 percent in the latest study, from 41.2 percent the previous month.
President Andrzej Duda ranked as the second-most trusted politician in the country, with 37.8 percent of respondents expressing confidence in him, state news agency PAP reported.
Former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki followed in third place with 36.7 percent, ahead of current Prime Minister Donald Tusk, who secured 35.7 percent.
Rounding out the top five was Karol Nawrocki, head of the state-run Institute of National Remembrance (IPN) and a presidential contender backed by the right-wing opposition Law and Justice (PiS) party, with 33.2 percent.
The survey was carried out on February 23 and 24 on a nationwide sample of 1,100 respondents.
