During the operation, authorities inspected two trucks from Poland and detained a Polish citizen, according to a report from the Central Bureau of Investigation on Saturday.
Police officers from the Rzeszów branch of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBŚP) are working on a case involving a criminal group that is engaged in cross-border drug smuggling from Spain to Poland. It has been reported that the Polish services have established cooperation with law enforcement agencies from France and Spain during their investigation.
The Central Bureau of Investigation of the Police (CBŚP) reported that "thanks to the exchange of information, the services seized over 1.3 tons of cocaine in France and Spain, with a black market value of over PLN 300 million". "All activities were coordinated by Europol in cooperation with liaison officers of the involved services, including the CBŚP" - it was added.
The investigators found that the cocaine was intended for Germany, Poland, the Netherlands, and Great Britain. The case is still ongoing, with officers examining all related circumstances.
