The Third Way electoral alliance, formed ahead of the 2023 parliamentary elections, has now officially run its course, Hołownia said.
He told reporters on Friday that the Third Way had "served Polish democracy" by helping to usher in change, but that it was time to move forward.
He unveiled legislative priorities for the coming months, starting with a "smartphone bill" to be introduced during the next parliamentary session on Tuesday.
The proposed law includes a ban on smartphones in primary schools and initiatives to promote digital hygiene among children, including training for parents.
Hołownia also pledged that Poland 2050 would submit its own media reform bill by the end of the year, unless another coalition partner acts first.
He said public media must be restored to a position of public service, rather than acting as an arm of the ruling party.
He reiterated his party’s support for legislation aimed at depoliticising state-owned companies.
According to Hołownia, voters supported the current ruling coalition not only for change in government but also to end the cronyism associated with the previous Law and Justice (PiS) administration.
The Poland 2050 leader also stated his intention to push for a deputy prime minister position for his party in the upcoming Cabinet reshuffle, expected in July.
He named Regional Policy Minister Katarzyna Pełczyńska-Nałęcz as a strong candidate for the role.
While he ruled himself out of joining the Cabinet, Hołownia said he would step down as lower-house Speaker if coalition agreements changed.
The anticipated reshuffle, announced by Prime Minister Donald Tusk, aims to update the government’s structure and introduce "new faces."
Recent changes have included the appointment of MP Marcin Bosacki as a deputy foreign minister and the resignation of Deputy Agriculture Minister Michał Kołodziejczak.
The PSL last week announced it plans to run independently in the next elections, effectively bringing the Third Way coalition to a close.
Hołownia confirmed this decision marked the formal end of the alliance.
