Austria's Stefan Kraft came in runner-up in Zakopane on Sunday.

A day earlier Poland placed fifth in a team competition in their home country.

In November, the Polish team, comprising Stoch, Kubacki, Piotr Żyła and Jakub Wolny, took third place in the World Cup season-opening competition in Wisła, southern Poland.

This season's ski-jumping World Cup features a total of 36 competitions, including six team events, in various countries.

Poland’s Kubacki earlier this month won the prestigious Four Hills Tournament after soaring to victory in the final stage of the annual series in Bischofshofen, Austria.

Last weekend, he won two World Cup competitions in Titisee-Neustadt, Germany.

The 2019/2020 ski-jumping World Cup circuit, run by the International Ski Federation (FIS), now moves to Sapporo, Japan, where two individual competitions will be held next weekend.
