In Warsaw, President Andrzej Duda decorated ten participants of military missions.
He said: "Polish soldiers, whether serving during United Nations peacekeeping missions, or serving as part of our contingents in various other allied missions, in particular in the North Atlantic Alliance, represent Poland and further our interests... We owe them great gratitude."
Friday was the Day of Veterans of missions aboard and the International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers.
