Duda and Morawiecki are expected to meet with a slew of international decision makers and business leaders during the annual event in the Swiss Alpine town, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.

This year's World Economic Forum opened on Monday and is being held under the theme "Cooperation in a Fragmented World."

The Polish president plans to focus on security and business issues during his talks at the event, according to officials.

His top foreign policy aide, Marcin Przydacz, told reporters on Monday that Duda would participate in the 52nd World Economic Forum between Tuesday and Thursday.

Duda is set to take part in a number of panel discussions focusing on "the consequences of the war in Ukraine for the developed world as well as developing countries," according to Przydacz.
