The Polish president is expected to discuss "the current situation on the front lines" in Ukraine, including "the threat of a Russian attack on the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant," his office said, as Russia's invasion of Ukraine moves into its 17th month.

Duda and Zelensky will also mark Ukrainian Constitution Day and talk about preparations for a NATO summit in Vilnius, Lithuania, next month, according to the Polish President's Office.

Lithuanian President Gitanas Nausėda is also scheduled to take part in the talks in the Ukrainian capital on Wednesday, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.

Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, launching the largest military campaign in Europe since World War II.

Wednesday is day 490 of Russia’s war on Ukraine.
