"I have decided to accept the resignation of Adam Niedzielski," Morawiecki said at a news conference.
"At the same time, I have decided to ask Katarzyna Sójka, a lawmaker and a doctor, to take over as health minister," he added.

Niedzielski quit after he sparked a public outcry over the disclosure of sensitive medical data, leading to calls for his resignation two months before a parliamentary election, the Bloomberg news agency reported.
