The proposal to build such a system by 2034 has been included in a draft law on civil protection, along with preliminary assumptions for a modern mechanism for warning, notifying and alerting the public about threats and potential attacks on critical infrastructure, Poland's Rzeczpospolita newspaper reported on Thursday.
Equipment used to ensure the security of such facilities would be resistant to cyberattacks and have appropriate certification from the Internal Security Agency and intelligence services.
The system is intended to provide the capability of using shortwave and satellite communication in case of the relocation of command and control posts during wartime, Rzeczpospolita reported.
