Leszek Moczulski was a legendary figure of the anti-communist underground and a political prisoner during the communist era in Poland.

For political reasons, he was imprisoned for six years and was arrested multiple times.

"Leszek Moczulski, an anti-communist, passed away when it required courage and sacrifice and was not a path to a career. There was supposed to be a 'revolution without revolution' and it happened, for the benefit and glory of Poland. Farewell, leader of the KPN. You were an inspiration to generations of patriots" - wrote Polish FM Radosław Sikorski via social media.
