Poland's top diplomat Radosław Sikorski and his Norwegian counterpart Espen Barth Eide talked about further assistance to Ukraine and bilateral relations between their two countries, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.
The Polish foreign ministry said the talks focused on "relations in the areas of economic cooperation and energy" and "international security, including the situation in Ukraine."

Speaking at a news conference after the talks, Sikorski said that Poland and Norway "remain strong advocates of a firm sanctions policy" against Russia and its ally Belarus.
"We plan further actions against Belarus and Russia to weaken their capacity to wage war in Ukraine," he revealed.
Sikorski told reporters that Norway "remains one of Poland's most important partners in security and defence, which is also confirmed by the cooperation between our defence industries and the use of Norwegian armaments by the Polish armed forces."
Russia invaded Ukraine by land, air and sea on February 24, 2022, starting the largest military conflict in Europe since World War II.
Wednesday is day 973 of Russia's war on Ukraine.
