CBŚP, under the supervision of the District Prosecutor's Office of Warsaw-Praga district, broke up a criminal group involved in dealing drugs and distributing them.
Investigators determined that the gang may have smuggled up to 800 kg (1,764 lbs) of drugs, primarily marijuana, and was also involved in trafficking cocaine and amphetamines.
In recent operations, officers detained five individuals and confiscated quantities of cocaine and marijuana.
In total, seven individuals are suspects in the case, four of whom have been temporarily detained by court order.
The suspects face charges including leading and participating in a criminal group, drug smuggling, possession, and trafficking of significant amounts of narcotics.
Assets worth over 1 million PLN (approximately €233,125 or $247,000) were seized, including cash, vehicles, and real estate.
Forced mortgages worth about 850,000 PLN (€198,156 or $211,000) were placed on properties owned by the suspects.
