Poland's 'Shield East' becomes EU's strategic defence program

The European Parliament voted on Wednesday on a resolution strengthening the EU's defence capabilities. The document included an unprecedented amendment, recognising Poland's flagship 'Shield East' project as a strategic defence programme for the European Union's common security.
