Polish Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz signed the document in the Estonian capital, Tallinn, with his counterparts from the Baltic states.

The declaration sets out priorities including the construction of transport routes between the countries, the protection of key infrastructure such as 5G networks, and cooperation with US troops stationed in the region, public broadcaster Polish Radio’s IAR news agency reported.

Czaputowicz also said that the number of COVID-19 deaths in Poland, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia was low, adding that all four countries were coping well with the pandemic, according to Polish state news agency PAP.

A total of 24,271 people have tested positive for the COVID-19 disease in Poland, with 1,081 deaths from the coronavirus so far, officials said on Tuesday morning.

Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki said on Tuesday that his country had “passed the test” by coming together to fight the unprecedented epidemic.
