"Since the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, the estimated losses of the invaders have reached almost 20,000 personnel," the ukrinform.net website reported, citing the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russian forces have also lost 756 tanks, 1,976 armored combat vehicles, 366 artillery systems, 163 aircraft, 144 helicopters, eight ships, and 135 unmanned aerial vehicles, according to the Ukrainian army.
Saturday is day 52 of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, which began on February 24.
