The information, reported by Axios news agency and attributed to Israeli and Ukrainian officials, indicates that Zelensky's office has extended an official visitation request to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

However, with discussions in a preliminary phase, and no date established, there has not been any official comments released from neither Zelensky nor Netanyahu's offices.

During a NATO defense ministers' meeting in Brussels, Zelensky urged national leaders to visit Israel and echoed the sentiments from the initial days of Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

"I remember the first days of the full-scale war ... It was the greatest tragedy for us. So many dead ... It was very important not to be left alone. This can help save your nation, people, save lives. That's why I recommend to the leaders to go to Israel and support the people ... who suffered from the terrorist attacks," expressed the Ukrainian president.

The conflict's tragic toll continues to rise, with Israeli media reporting a minimum of 1,200 fatalities and over 3,400 injuries in Israel, as well as over 200 abductions by Hamas into the Gaza Strip.

Airstrikes by the Israel Defense Forces on the Gaza Strip have reportedly resulted in at least 1,100 Palestinian casualties and nearly 5,400 injuries, according to Hamas officials.
