Poland's Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz hosted Estonia's Hanno Pevkur in Warsaw on Friday.

Afterwards, the Polish defence minister said that good cooperation between the two countries in the NATO alliance and shared support for Ukraine was helping safeguard the region.

"We are stronger together," he added.

Meanwhile, Estonia's Pevkur wrote on social media that the two had agreed to work together on helping deliver a million ammunition rounds to Ukraine, as well as on "defence industry matters and joint positions in the EU."

In addition, Pevkur extended an invitation to Estonia for Kosiniak-Kamysz, who also serves as Poland's deputy prime minister.

Friday is day 688 of Russia’s war on Ukraine.

Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, launching the largest military campaign in Europe since World War II.
