During a press conference in Beijing on Tuesday, Mao Ning stated that China had decided to broaden the list of countries eligible for visa-free access to enhance people-to-people exchanges with other nations.
The expanded list now includes Poland, New Zealand and Australia.
She mentioned that citizens of these three countries will be able to travel to China visa-free for up to 15 days from July 1 until the end of 2025.
Mao Ning also noted that other visa types would remain unchanged.
On Monday, Polish President Andrzej Duda announced China's intention to implement a visa-free policy for Polish citizens.
Duda made this statement after a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in Beijing.
