Zvarych will now take up the post of Ukraine's ambassador to the Czech Republic, Polish state news agency PAP reported.

Polish lawmaker Paweł Kowal, who heads the Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee and chairs the Council for Cooperation with Ukraine, said that Zvarych "is a good, experienced diplomat who has done a lot for Polish-Ukrainian relations."

Zvarych, who became ambassador to Warsaw in July 2022, is a graduate of the National University in Lviv, western Ukraine.

He previously worked as a deputy department director at the Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was also a member of the diplomatic staff at the Ukrainian embassies in Turkey and the United States.
