Russian disinformation campaigns - global mudslinging

Russian online disinformation campaigns have been active regarding several countries' leaders, recently including Zelensky's wife Olena and Kaja Kallas from Estonia.

Fact checking services like the Polish service demagog.org.pl have provided evidence that Russia is using AI in large scale disinformation campaigns, for example against the wife of Ukrainian President Zelensky - Olena Zelenska.

Fact-checkers have confirmed that the Ukrainian First Lady has not bought a luxurious Bugatti:

This is presumably to add credence to the Russian narrative that they attacked Ukraine because the country is corrupt and fascist and therefore in need of "liberation". 

Another object of Russian disinformation has been the Estonian Prime Minister who has been made EU's "foreign minister". This has annoyed Russia as she has been a strong critic of Russia, often referred to as a "Russia hawk":
