Speaking at the Democratic Party convention in Chicago, Kaptur emphasized that Harris would be a strong ally for both Europe and Poland.

In an interview with Polish Radio, Kaptur stated that Harris would maintain the same stance on the war in Ukraine as President Joe Biden. "I think the policy will be the same. She will stand shoulder to shoulder with our NATO allies until Ukraine wins," Kaptur said.

Kaptur also highlighted Harris’s deep understanding of the situation, noting her ties to California, which has a significant Ukrainian community. As vice president, Harris has frequently traveled to Europe, where she met with key allies.

"She has been in Europe, she has met with all of our allies. She understands what is at stake and knows well who liberty’s enemies are," Kaptur explained.

As an American of Polish descent, Kaptur expressed confidence in the potential Harris administration's relationship with Poland, predicting a very close alliance. Marcy Kaptur, who represents Ohio in the House of Representatives, is a member of the Polish caucus in the U.S. Congress.
