Harris targets Trump’s approach to Poland and Ukraine in debate

During the 90 minute conversation, US Vice President Kamala Harris challenged Donald Trump:

“Why don’t you tell the 800,000 Polish Americans right here in Pennsylvania how quickly you would give up for the sake of favor, and what you think is a friendship with a dictator who would eat you for lunch?”

Poland and Ukraine take spotlight in U.S. presidential debate

“Our European allies, our NATO allies, are so thankful you’re no longer president,” Kamala Harris told Donald Trump.

She also added that if Trump were still in power, "Putin would be sitting in Kyiv with his eyes on the rest of Europe, starting with Poland."

Harris criticizes Trump’s stance on Ukraine and Putin

Kamala Harris declared her support for Ukraine and criticized Trump, claiming that his presidency would have been a disaster for Ukraine and Eastern Europe.

Vicepresident sharply criticized Trump for his submissiveness toward Putin.

Trump emphasized his desire to end the war in Ukraine but repeatedly avoided explicitly endorsing a Ukrainian victory, focusing instead on general statements about saving lives.

While he expressed concern over the human toll, he offered no specific plans or evidence to support his remarks on war casualties.

63 percent of voters believed that Harris won the debate with Trump

According to a CNN poll, 63 percent of voters considered Kamala Harris the winner of Tuesday’s debate, while 37 percent pointed to Donald Trump.

Additionally, a focus group study from Pennsylvania showed that the majority of undecided voters leaned toward supporting Harris after the debate.

Taylor Swift announced her support for Kamala Harris in the presidential election

Following the debate, the popular American singer Taylor Swift publicly expressed her support for Kamala Harris.

Through social media, the globally known star announced that on November 5, she will vote for the current vice president.

“I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I'm voting for Kamala Harris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them,” wrote the American music icon.
