Mark Brzezinski is currently holding a series of farewell meetings with Polish politicians. On Monday, Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski thanked him for his work strengthening Polish-American relations and wished him success in his future endeavors.
"The Polish-American relationship is stronger than ever, based on shared values and mutual trust. I am proud of the progress we have made together and deeply believe that our alliance will continue to grow dynamically," said the top U.S. diplomat in Poland, thanking Sikorski for the successful partnership.
Mark Brzezinski to stay in Poland and launch consulting firm
The head of the US Embassy in Poland confirmed in an interview with Katarzyna Kolenda-Zalewska on TVN24 that he plans to stay in Poland and focus on work in the private sector.
"I will start a small strategic consulting firm with offices in Warsaw and Washington, D.C.," Mark Brzezinski stated.
The ambassador acknowledged that the war in Ukraine defined both his entire tenure and Polish-American relations over the past three years. He also expressed pride in the Polish people for showing their love for America and emphasized that serving as ambassador was the fulfillment of his lifelong dream.
