Trump's short conversation with Zelenskyy was later confirmed by the White House. As one American official reported - "the leaders met privately and had a very productive discussion."

Sky News informed that their talks will continue after the funeral. They are most likely concerning the peace process in Ukraine - and the so-called rare earth minerals deal.

According to media leaks, to stop Putin's invasion Washington wants to hand over Ukraine's Crimea to its current occupiers from Russia - which Kyiv does not agree to. The differences also concern, among other things, the participation of the United States in security guarantees for Ukraine after a possible Truce.

Saturday is the 1,158th day of Ukraine's heroic resistance against Russia's unlawful full-scale aggression - which followed Moscow's 11-year-long illegal occupation of the entire Ukrainian region of Crimea, as well as parts of the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
