Officials from Spain and Slovenia are said to have exchanged hundreds of messages with the virtual version of the UK leader via Nostrada.ai - a platform that simulates conversations with any member of the British Parliament.

The AI tool, developed by a UK-based tech firm, was reportedly used to anticipate Downing Street’s potential positions on sensitive issues such as fishing rights and youth mobility.

According to The Telegraph, the chatbot helped shape EU strategy in the final hours before a deal was struck. The agreement, signed earlier this week, extends European access to British fishing waters until 2038 and lays the groundwork for a new mobility programme for under-30s from EU countries.

The newspaper also revealed that similar AI models may soon be deployed to simulate talks with other global leaders, including US President Donald Trump, Russia’s Vladimir Putin, and North Korea’s Kim Jong Un.
