"This afternoon, President Andrzej Duda will fly to Moldova to meet with President Maia Sandu, and from there he will head to Bulgaria and Romania for meetings tomorrow with Presidents Rumen Radev and Klaus Iohannis," Jakub Kumoch, the head of Duda's International Policy Bureau, announced on Twitter on Monday morning.
He added that the visits were part of consultations Duda was holding ahead of NATO's Brussels summit and his upcoming meeting with Biden in Warsaw.
US President Joe Biden will travel to Poland following meetings with NATO allies, G7 leaders and European Union politicians in Brussels this week to discuss international efforts to support Ukraine and "impose severe and unprecedented costs on Russia for its invasion," the White House said in a statement on Sunday.
NATO leaders including Biden are scheduled to meet for an "extraordinary" summit in Brussels on Thursday to discuss Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg has said the summit will "address Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, our strong support for Ukraine, and further strengthening NATO’s deterrence and defence."
On Friday, Biden will travel to Warsaw, where he is scheduled to hold a bilateral meeting with Duda the next day, Poland's PAP news agency reported.
