Mateusz Morawiecki has published in today's Der Spiegel an article explaining to a German audience Poland's demands for reparations from Germany - reparations of 1.3 trillion euros to compensate Poland for Germany's wartime invasion and destruction of Poland.
Morawiecki writes that "Poland demands that our German partners finally take political, historical, legal and financial responsibility for all the consequences of the attack on our country."
He reminds German readers, that "following the 1939 German invasion, a reign of terror began against the Jewish population, but also against Polish elites - teachers, professors, engineers and priests, who were systematically murdered."
