Massive rescue efforts are underway, with the global community offering assistance in search and recovery operations.
Since yesterday, a Polish search and rescue team has been working on the scene to save the victims.
On Tuesday morning, a team of 76 Polish search and rescue specialists arrived in Turkey to help with rescue and relief operations.
One of the officers of the Polish HUSAR Group, junior brigadier Jakub Filip, who is on-site, said that the conditions for conducting the rescue operation are challenging due to the low temperature and strong wind.
