In a speech at the Munich Security Conference, Borrell said: "Much more has to be done and much quicker. There is still a lot to be done. We have to increase and accelerate our military support."
The EU foreign affairs chief also expressed his support for an Estonian proposal of joint procurement of 155mm ammunition by the bloc’s members to help Ukraine.
"I completely agree with the Estonian prime minister's proposal and we are working on that and it will work," Borrell said.
Sunday marks the third and last day of the Munich Security Conference, a gathering of defence leaders and stakeholders from around the world.
