In an interview for the Ukrainian TSN site, Kyrylo Budanov has said that the Ukrainian Armed Forces are not at all worried about the presence of teh Wagner Group in Belarus.
Budanov said that in general the threat from the Belarusian, i.e. northern side, is not "real" at this time.
Kyrylo Budanov (1986) has been Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence since August 2020. A veteran of Russian-Ukrainian battles, in 2019 there was an attempt to assassinate Budanov by a Russian citizen by blowing up his car. The mine planted detonated prematurely.
